Production Manager

H2O Degree is a Bensalem, PA manufacturer of wireless electronic water meters and energy conservation products for over 15 years. We are looking for an experienced Production Manager  to lead our production team and support our fast-growing business throughout the United States.

The Production Manager’s duties include building production schedules, making sure production processes stay adhered to and within budgets while meeting deadlines.  Motivation and evaluation of each team members productivity is critical.  The Manager will be responsible for inventory levels while coordinating with purchasing to ensure parts are in stock at the appropriate levels.  Providing a clean and safe work environment and assessing safety standards in all areas is paramount.

Candidate must have strong organizational skills and experience in electronic assembly and testing environment.  Leadership of the team and providing direction will be critical while providing strong technical oversight regarding electronics and mechanical assemblies.

Production Manager duties and responsibilities

  • Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
  • Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free
  • Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
  • Evaluating test & manufacturing tools and equipment resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
  • Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
  • Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team member.
  • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in leading a manufacturing team and overall facility.
  • Demonstrated understanding of electronic pcb assembly and mechanical enclosures.
  • Familiarity using an ERP system for manufacturing and Bill of Material management.
  • Full understanding of electronic component repair, troubleshooting and soldering related to surface-mount and thru-hole components
  • Ability to design and document assembly and test procedures for manufacturing staff.
  • High proficiency levels with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint along with strong computer skills.
  • Technology aptitude and ability to learn & write software for new test procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year based on experience

Electronic Production Technician

Electronic Production Technician

The Electronic Production Technician is responsible for troubleshooting current products as well as customer returns.  Supporting production for technical production & testing.  Participate in testing and assembly for new product introductions and engineering projects.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience with electronic manufacturing and mechanical assembly.

Major job elements

  • Technical production projects that require soldering
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair customer material returned.
  • Evaluate and repair failed units in production.
  • Create and correct production instructions and test procedures.
  • Initial production runs of new product.  Build, assemble, test, and create documentation.

Western Regional Sales Manager

Regional Technical Sales Manager – Western

The Regional Technical Sales Manager is responsible for supporting and expanding the existing sales channel of plumbing manufacturer reps, engineers, contractors and distributors.  In addition calling on meter reading companies, property managers and other channel partners.  The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience and knowledge in the plumbing industry.  Experience in electrical, HVAC and property management is a plus.  Responsibilities will include generating quotes from plumbing, mechanical and electrical specifications or blueprints and providing top-notch customer service to our wide customer base. Willingness to travel required throughout the territory.

PRIMARY OUTCOMES/Major job elements

  • Demonstrate, promote and sell products/services using strong product and application knowledge to existing and prospective customers
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Work with existing sales distributors/reps in the territory to increase “share of mind” and overall sales levels
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets for commission above base salary
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

Plumbing Inside Technical Customer Support

The Technical Services and Sales Support Specialist is responsible for determining customer requirements from telephone and e-mail discussions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience generating quotes from plumbing, mechanical and electrical specifications or blueprints and providing top-notch customer service to our wide customer base. This individual will also be required to support the internal sales team and manufacturer representative(s).

PRIMARY OUTCOMES/Major job elements

· Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions

· Prioritized, timely, and accurate execution of requests for quotes, specifications, and technical drawings.

· Prepare, present, and follow up on quotes in a timely manner.

· Recommend alternate products based on specifications and availability Support the management team with regard to issue resolution with suppliers.

· Support sales team, regional manager(s) and manufacturer representative(s) with specifications, quotations, technical knowledge, and any applicable jurisdictional codes or program information.
